Dark & Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Shrinkage Creme Glaze on Mini Twists
Hey Everyone,
I wanted to come and brag about how good my mini twists look y using the D&L Au Naturale Anti Shrinkage Creme Glaze on them. I got this product as a gift, my friend was buying some and Walgreen's had a sale on this product you buy one and get the other for 1/2 off. It cost $9.99. My friend got the other jar and gave it to me. I was glad, because I had seen some good reviews on this product with people doing videos using it for Wash & Go's, and 2 strand twists. I wanted to try it too. You know how that goes. I don't know if to say "Monkey See Monkey Do" or I'm jumping on a Product Bandwagon again. :)
I can say I'm glad I did, I'm so in love with how this product made my curls look. I wanted it to moisturize the ends of my twists and that it did it DELIVERED!! I'm so glad, My friend put this on my hair, and I'm thrilled, glad she did. After she did it, I went out and this lady stopped me saying " I love your hair!" and want me to do her some 2 strand twists, and she want me to do her hair the same as I did mine. I'll try and take a picture or 2 when I'm done.

Elasta QP DPR-11+ Deep Conditioner
Vitamin-rich, DPR-11+ is a deep penetrating re-moisturizing conditioner with 11+ plant extracts, Organic oils and vitamins. Moisturizing conditioners renew hair strength and elasticity leaving hair feeling like silk.
I had to come and do a review on this deep conditioner, I used it a few times, and got the same results. it left my hair very silky soft as it said it would. Outside of a few ingredients that are looked at as "not good" I'm pleased with how my hair turned out. I heard that this product has sense changed the ingredients sense the last time. I never used it back then, but from a lot of reviews from others that have used it then, swears that it's the bomb<dot>com. I hear that it was a lot thicker than this new one, to me this product is thick, I turned jar upside down, nothing came out or sliding down like it was.
As for this one, I like it. It left my hair real soft. The first time I used it by itself with no extra added oils or anything. and it worked great!. The second time, I'm taking down a protective style that I had in for 2 months, and I wanted to have a serious deep conditioning treatment. I added my honey and olive oil mix to this deep conditioning cream, I have to say, it don't mix well with other products, the mix came out very water like ewww kinda.
Anyhow, I continued and just added more of the cream on my hair and then the olive oil and honey mix. I sat under dryer for 25 to 30 mins and when I was done, my hair was SUPER SOFT!! I was really pleased with the results. When I was done, I put in my Shea butter, and braided hair up. The picture below show the finished product.
So the question is, would I recommend this DC to anyone and the answer is YES!! I would. For those that aren't against the ingredients, I'd say go for it.
But of course, you don't have to run out andget this because I said so :) It's nothing wrong with
trying a good conditioner.
The price is $5.99, I got it from a local Beauty supply
store ( not Sally's)

ELF Eye Primer
Hey guys,
another product review that I have to say I am very proud of, and was glad to do it. This will be something I will use on a regular. it's the ELF Eye Primer. today I did my eye makeup using that underneath it, I have to say when I got done, my eyes looked as if I had a professional to do it!
It stayed fresh looking all day! I worked and ran a few errand and attended meetings, when breaking away to looking in mirror the eye shadow was still intact! I was just like OMG!. When the day was over, it still looked good. It worn in the creases of my eyes some, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless I closed my eyes for awhile
here's some pics I took after putting on my eye shadow:
In this pic I called myself had one eyebrow lifted and the other one down. I'm being silly. LOL You can't tell that's what I was doing. Look how nice and clean the makeup looked.
Makeup I used:
Eyes:
ELF Eyelid Primer
LA Colors Palette Supernatural (Gray Palette)
ELF Water Proof Eyeliner Pen
Apple Cosmetics EyeLiner pencil
Lips:
Lip Gloss I got from Dot's
the name wasn't on it
Look close, is that the smokey eye I did? I was trying to catch that illusion LOL. I like how it came out. I just got to doing something. LOL
I used shades of gray, that was it. I wanted to definately give a product review on the ELF Primer that is a great primer
If you have used it, let me know what your opinion is. Thanks for reading.

Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen
I wanted to get started on this blog about the Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen. It makes a great alternative when you can't get to the salon or redo your nails for example: If you're in a hurry, or got no time to go and get your nails did, this pen would serve that purpose. It's easy to use, no mess hardly (take some time) .It will give you the look as if you went and had them done professionally.
I did a video showing what I did, and I was happy with my results, I didn't do a tutorial video, I was just showing how it looked after I did it on my left hand. LOL I was so overly excited. doing my right hand would take more time because I'm going to be doing it with my left hand. I am right handed, so everything I'm doing with my left is awkward to me. However, I taught myself to write with my left hand.
Procedure:
What I did, was washed my hands and nails, waited until fully dry. I took pen outlined and colored in my nail tips. I took a Qtip used some Fingernail Polish Remover the one with Acetone, to do the shaping and clean up of half tip. That was it!
As the day went on, it chipped a little. I went back over it. and it was okay after that. I think that because I didn't put a top base coat on my fingernail before using the pen that was the reason. I'm going to do it again before I give my final word, when I do I will add my final thoughts about this pen to this blog. I can say for now, so far so good. I liked it. It is easy to use, and can be very convenient for someone that don't have time or money to pay or go to a nail salon.

Prices:
I bought it from Walgreen's it cost $6 and some change.
The Sally Hansen Clear Top Shiny Coat I believe was about $3 or $4.
I got them both from Walgreen's but not at the same time the clear polish I had for awhile. I forgot the price of it
Note: I heard it's cheaper at Sally's Beauty

Tutorial:
I didn't think that doing a tutorial would be necessary. I did one anyways, because I wanted to show where I made my mistake at, so that you want repeat it, and you will know what NOT to do. I will have it posted soon it will be here on the blog.
here's a pic showing the finished product on my left hand:
Final Thought: This pen is the BOMB!! if you don't want to use the white polish, using the polish brush this pen makes a great alternative. It do works the same. All I say is when applying your coats of polish, make sure that it's dry ALL THE WAY!!..That was where my problem was. I didn't let dry all the way. What happened was, the clear polish, bleed through the white making it look tacky. So that's it. I hope you found this to be helpful.
Thanks for reading and watching :)
